Md. Imran Omar is a Senior Scientific Officer at the Agricultural Economics Division, Bangladesh Rice Research Institute. He has research experience in impact evaluation, value chain development, research designs, econometric modelling and data analysis. He has experience in the analysis of survey data, panel data and time series data. His areas of interest in research include evaluation of sustainable development, food security, value chain development and agricultural transformation. Over the past decades, his works were focused on the value chain and supply chain analysis of agricultural commodities, technology adoption and impact assessment, agribusiness and marketing, commodity market.
