Syarifah Amaliah, M. App.Ec is a lecturer at Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM), IPB University, Bogor, Indonesia. She graduated from The University of Adelaide with the degree of Master of Applied Economics in 2014. She has been actively involved in research projects partnering with local and international researchers in the area of food policy, rural development, agricultural trade and food value chains. Some of her relevant research portfolio including:

  • Surfing High Commodity Prices: Evolution and Impact of High Commodity Prices; Strategic Options for Indonesia. Responsible for an analysis on the Indonesia CGE modeling for the Economic Sector Work. The World Bank.
  • Impacts and Policy Implications of Plausible Global Agricultural-related Futures for Indonesia and Australia, with an Emphasis on Economic Development and Structural Adjustment. IFPRI, ANU, ICASEPS, Bogor Agricultural University. Funded by ACIAR. 2008-2011.

In this project, she is assigned to assist all of the major tasks including literature review and data analysis.
