Rika Reviza Rachmawati is Junior Researcher in Indonesian Center for Agricultural Socio Economic and Policy Studies (ICASEPS). She earns a MSc in Sustainable Development Agriculture from the University of Greenwich, United of Kingdom (2014) and Bachelor degree in Plant Breeding at the Padjadjaran University (2011).

My roles and duties at Indonesian Centre for Agro Socio-Economic and Policy Studies (ICASEPS), are to contribute to the organization’s mission in order to provide a wide range of various stakeholders with unbiased information and opportunities for collaboration. Under the Ministry of Agriculture, ICASEPS must provide information for policymakers for better Agro Socio-Economic policies. My duties are collecting information (gather statistical data and other information to explore a major constraint and find solutions. Data statistics can reveal hidden issues and reveal the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of policies, conducting household surveys, or compile existing statistics into an analysis that conveys a new meaning, ensures data quality; cleans and checks exiting data for consistency and accuracy, analyzing effects and recommending policies, conducts background policy research and analysis to support existing projects as well as proposals; synthesizes research findings to identify and recommend best practices, rack project timeline, deliverables, and internal/external partners across multiple projects and teams, proactively communicating progress and potential challenges to supervisors and project teams, undertake data analysis for use in policy
