Farah Naz
I am currently enrolled as a PhD scholar at Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE). I have completed my M Phil degree in Economics by winning Gold Medal from Fatima Jinnah Women University, Pakistan. My research in M Phil was focused on fiscal policy and growth with title “Fiscal Cyclicality, Output Volatility and Economic Growth: Evidence from Pakistan”. Earlier I completed my master degree in Economics with silver medal distinction.
I have approximately 5 years of teaching experience (on contract basis and as visiting faculty) at Fatima Jinnah Women University, Pakistan. Also I worked as research assistant with a private organization where I assist in grant application, proposal making and review.
I have published one paper in national journal and two articles in magazines. I have also supervised two undergrad theses. Currently my area of research is agriculture economics and health economics.
